Being one of the most established motorcycle distributors in Singapore, Mah Pte Ltd is the place to go to have a choice selection of motorbikes. Catering to every discipline, from cruisers all the way to scooters, Mah's stable is impressive to say the least.
Before every bike purchase, there is obligatory test ride. But doing a road test for a bike meant to be ridden off road doesnt show its full potential. So Mah saddled up and went across the causeway to the one place where offroad bikes can be tested in a controlled environment.
Cut scene - Bright and early at Ulu Choh Dirt Park, six bikes gleamed all pretty and new. Beta's 200 RR and 300 X-Trainer in their distinct white and orange colour scheme stood out. Being 2T bikes meant that they weren't legal for the streets of Singapore. Parked next to the Beta's, two stout bikes stood proudly. Triumph's 1200 XC and XE. The Beta and Triumph bikes are world's apart in design and discipline but the same amount of fun and excitement to be had. The track had been split into two different courses. The more challenging side for Beta, with good cause as there were experienced dirt bikers pushing the bikes limits.
Both brands held up even with the constant seat time going on throughout the day, a testament to their durability and capabilities. Even if you missed out on the test rides and you want to check out the bikes, head down to Mah Pte Ltd @ 1179 Serangoon Rd, Singapore 328232
