Singapore - Just a little over a week since our 2017 9tro Alliance Meet Singapore, the team were back at the rooftop of Carros Centre yet again but this time as Official Media for a radically different kind of event - The Wicked Wallop. A motorbike lifestyle event that’s easily the biggest outdoor show of it sort we have ever witnessed.
Organised by a motorcycle club known as the War Pigs (we will be featuring them in a later story) to commemorate group’s anniversary, The Wicked Wallop has grown by leaps and bounds ever since its humble beginnings two years ago. From a small gathering of Harley-Davidson riders during its inaugural launch to last year’s mega event at The Grandstand where bikers of all brands came together with their respective groups to join in the festivities.
The Wicked Wallop’s second edition was made even more special with the inclusion of major bike dealerships, live performances by rock bands, lifestyle apparels, tattoo artists, food and beverage vendors plus everything else in between coming onboard. Needless to say, the event was a massive success and for 2018, the guys at War Pigs were determined to make the show even bigger and better!
With a change in location to Carros Centre, the organisers were expecting a huge turnout but what happened went beyond everyone’s expectations. From the time the over 100-strong motorcade rolled in at 3.00pm right up till pass 11.00pm, the third iteration of The Wicked Wallop was a bustling hive of non-stop action and entertainment. It allowed everyone in the biking community to check out each other’s rides, network, catch up with friends while making new ones. The number of bikes present numbered into the high hundreds.
