Singapore - We are no strangers to roaming roadshows, whereby we jump into our vehicles and traverse the island spreading the word of a particular client or event. So when the good people at Singapore Bike Show appointed 9tro as their Official Media and tasked us to plan a roaming roadshow for their upcoming mega bike exhibition we jumped upon it with glee!
The mission was fairly straightforward, gather up three vehicles, stickered up with the 2017 Singapore Bike Show title and flanked by two bikes. The convoy was then joined by the organisers from Space Arena, two Singapore Bike Show models, Cheryl and Rachel, plus Team 9tro! With that, we would set off from the East and visit as many bike shops as possible catching up with industry regulars while handing out 2017 Singapore Bike Show pamphlets and posters across the island.
The day kicked off bright and early where we gathered at the Eunos train station before moving off to the Kaki Bukit area where a number of bike-related outlets were located. The roaming roadshow also allowed the crew to get a feel of the ground on the industry as we caught up with the various bosses from the different bike shops while at the same time generating further interest in the event that will take place next weekend.
From the east, we crossed over to the west, heading straight for the Alexandra Village area where another cluster of bike outlets were located, there we continued with our promotional activities while also passing the pamphlets to customers and other riders in the stores. Our end point was Mah Motor, Singapore’s biggest bike dealer, where we spent a fair bit of time browsing through the massive showroom and engaging with fellow riders about the Bike Show. Do enjoy the photos that follow!
