Singapore - Our spotlight today is on Benjamin’s chromed 2017 Harley Davidson Dyna Street Bob FXDB. Now Harleys aren’t exactly common here on our sunny island, but for the few that own these big bikes are madly enthusiastic about them. We spoke to Benjamin about his passion and his bike to learn a little more!
9tro: Could you tell us a little more about yourself?
Benjamin: I’m in my mid-thirties and started riding about five years ago when I attained my first motorcycle licence. Back then I saw a really cool Harley Davidson Street Glide and Ducati Streetfighter travelling along the road, that immediately caught my attention. That's how I wanted to see myself when I ride motorcycles I thought. So that's how my love for big motorbikes came about.
9tro: What made you get your current bike?
Benjamin: I started with riding the Harley Street Glide and found it too big and heavy. Hence, I went for the Harley Dyna range as it was lighter and nimbler with similar power.
9tro: What modifications does your bike have?
Benjamin: I swopped the original handle bar for a Lucky Daves Lucky 13 Handlebar 11”. There’s also a S&S Cycles Mini Tear Drop Air Cleaner Kit, Two Brothers Comp-S Racing Exhaust System, the rear suspension has been changed to Ohlins Black Line S36DRL Shocks and I added a Harley Davidson Detachable Sissy Bar. For the finishing touch I wrapped the bike in chrome!
9tro: What are your future plans for your bike?
Benjamin: I am thinking of upgrading the brakes and possibly get a set of custom wheels!
